Uploading a bank or mutual fund statement is a moment of trust. This page explains, in plain language, exactly what FundSageAI stores, how it's protected, and how you can remove it — without legal jargon. What We Store

When you use FundSageAI, we store:

  • The CAS statement files (PDFs) you upload
  • Transactions and holdings parsed from those statements
  • Portfolio goals you create
  • AI chat history, if you use the AI Assistant feature

We do not store your bank login credentials or full card numbers. Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner — we only keep masked details (like the last four digits of a card) for your receipts, never the full card number.

How Your Data Is Protected

  • Statement files are stored in Amazon S3 with server-side encryption at rest.
  • Files are never served as direct or public links — every download uses a short-lived, time-expiring presigned URL.
  • Our database connection uses TLS in transit.
  • All financial calculations run on our servers over an authenticated, permission-checked API — never exposed to third-party scripts.
  • Login attempts and admin actions are rate-limited and audit-logged.
  • We use parameterized database queries throughout, which structurally prevents SQL injection.

We Don't Sell Your Data

Full stop. Our Privacy Policy spells this out in detail — we don't sell your personal information to third parties, and that promise doesn't change based on which page of our site you're reading.

Delete Your Data

Go to Settings → Danger Zone → Reset Data. This permanently deletes every statement, transaction, and portfolio record you've uploaded — right away, no waiting period.

Your login stays active so nobody else can register a duplicate account with your details, but all your financial data is gone.

Want your account closed entirely? Email support@fundsageai.com and we'll take care of it. As noted in our Privacy Policy, some information may be retained after account closure where required for legal or accounting purposes.
